Atuqtuarvik Corporation
In 1999, RT Associates conducted an Inuit Capital Needs Study. As a result, in 2000, NTI and Nunavut Trust established the Atuqtuarvik Corporation to provide loans and equity capital to Inuit businesses, either for start-up or expansion purposes.
Since then, the Atuqtuarvik Corporation has contracted RT Associates to review its mandate, update its strategic plan and assist the corporation in increasing its capital base. The Atuqtuarvik Corporation continues to be one of the most successful organizations in Nunavut in providing capital to Inuit businesses.
