Hamlet of Cambridge Bay
In 2009, RT Associates developed a Cambridge Bay Promotion & Marketing Plan to attract the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) to Cambridge Bay. In developing the plan, RT Associates carried out extensive interviews with arctic researchers and other northerners to identify key attributes that would make Cambridge Bay the best location for CHARS and evaluated the community’s local businesses, institutions, logistical capabilities and social services that could support CHARS.
